I know some people using the older G or the newer GL with the OpenWrt software. About a month ago I on the netgear homepage I found a new router, supporting user mainained software as well, which I could not find on that page anymore a few minutes ago - it may be that they drawed it back from the market meanwhile. I have no information about the open software used on that, and wether it is usable with OpenWrt, but it was said haiving an IMHO very interesting feature: it could recover from a failing attempt uploading new firmware, being reset to the original one. I am not sure if that is possible with the linksys as well - if somebody knows that, I would be interested in details. bye, Christian ------------------------------------------------- Christian Langanke COS2E & CWSE Team OS/2 Ruhr e.V. cla@clanganke.de
