I'll have to think about this. I'm pretty sure this is not a legal URL.
Seamonkey definitely thinks this is the case and pops up a dialog to this
effect.
Replacing the space with the period that logic says should be there, gets
a valid URL and a response from the site etc.

More like criminal activity. The goal is to weaken spam protection so
more malware can get installed.
