Stan S. and Neil,

I've just recently noticed that my BIOS provides similar Power Management
function as does my WinXPPro opsys. This has brought confusion as to which
I  should utilize, thinking that disabling the BIOS functions and allowing
only  the opsys to control power management is the better way.

Does anyone have any other suggestions as to this distinction?
