I think, Stan, your requester problem lies with the network numbering of your NETBEUI (or rather, TCPBEUI) binding. If you haven't done so, could you post your PROTOCOL.INI to the list? If you have, then just remind me and I'll go searching for it.
NETBEUI and TCPBEUI need to be bound to different logical adapters, i.e., they can't both be bound to adapter 0 or adapter 1. Probably the best way to work around the issue here is to bind it a couple more times for your second physical NIC, but I'm just talking off the top of my head, here (I rarely play with NETBEUI or TCPBEUI, as I'm almost always on a Novell network and not peer to peer or OS/2 -> Windows). My guess, though, is that the TCPBEUI binding gets broken when the interface is deleted, and the NETBIOS setup gets cut off at the knees.

'@ ifconfig lan0 delete'
I don't think this is required as after I used it on my laptop, I was unable to use the Requester functions and now get a NET3060 error message. Can you explain why you would 'delete' vs just make inactive? Stan Sidlov
