I have 50 machine running on a subnet runnin NAT to the Internet through a Linksys router.
All the W$ and OS/2 machines can run FTP without a problem.
But, the MACS can't. We have tried various clients including I.E. , Netscape and Safari and nonseem to work.
Supposedly, they have tried turning "passive" on and off with no results.
I am going to spend some time in our Composition department in the morning.
Anyone have any thoughts?
Get an IP trace from one of the Mac clients and check if it's indeed using passive mode. Also check the PORT commands issued, they may be referring to invalid IPs or even localhost (it happens...).
