Hmmm... I think you could probably do it by parsing the output from netstat -n, but I haven't really thought about it. I'm on vacation now, at a hotel with only dialup access. Netstat -n doesn't give me much info from here... :-(  I'll have a look at a virtual PC running eCS 1.1 and see what might be possible.


netstat -n gives:

Interface 0  Ethernet-Csmacd
physical address    00096b5f57ed      MTU 1500
<snip>

So with wireless setup , you should get:

Interface 1 ....


If so, that just might do it. Just need to check the first interface listed?
