Hi Lewis,

I'm interested in more info on conducting site surveys. Does the author
cover these well? I will be ordering some testing equipment shortly and
the prices I've seen so far are horrible... two to three thousad
dollars... OUCH! And that's the low end!! <sheesh>

So far, I've been using an old ThinkPad and a LinkSys WIC and WAP11.
Since this AP is low power, I figure it it works marginally, then it
should work perfectly once I add the LinkSys signal booster. So far, this
has been working well for me in 7 locations.  However, I have two more
that are much bigger and I'm going to need directional antennas, to work
within the 3 channel limit of 802.11b.

Any suggestions in this are would be most appreciated!

Randy
