Does the author cover these well? I will be ordering some testing equipment shortly and the prices I've seen so far are horrible... two to three thousad dollars... OUCH! And that's the low end!! So far, I've been using an old ThinkPad and a LinkSys WIC and WAP11. Since this AP is low power, I figure it it works marginally, then it should work perfectly once I add the LinkSys signal booster. So far, this has been working well for me in 7 locations. However, I have two more that are much bigger and I'm going to need directional antennas, to work within the 3 channel limit of 802.11b. Any suggestions in this are would be most appreciated!
