The same key in protocol.ini works fine (with 0x > first). [...] Hmm, works like a charm here. If I use the prefix "0x" it stores the key in hex (26 chars without blanks or other delimiter characters) and if I do not use "0x" I can use plain Text (13 chars). BTW: Does anyone know who is responsible for this program? I just want to say thank you for this very, very valuable thing! And off course I have some suggestion for improvement: ;-) 1) If radio is turned off and the system recovers from suspend or hibernation the radio is turned on automatically. Would be nice to stop that (if it was on before it should be on afterward and if it was off before it should be off afterward). 2) Sometimes there is a problem with my IBM miniPCI adapter in my T30: All on a sudden it stops working during operation. WiFi Stat reports "no card detected". A suspend and resume recovers from this. Maybe such a functionality can be made available from the menu ("reset card" or "rescan for card") - don't know if this is possible. 3a) The program window is much too large. I would love a minimize to Desktop view where one can see the signal strength just by color (like DHCPMON.EXE). 3b) Even better would a X-Center widget be. When will Easter and X-mas be at the same date? Maybe I'll get these features as a present then. ;-) Greetings Michael -- Michael Warmuth, Michael Warmuth - EDV-Dienstleistungen Manager IT Waldegghofg. 20, A-1170 Wien michael@warmuth.at Austria - EUROPE +43-676-3863440 www.warmuth.at Austria -- The place in the heart of Europe where no kangaroos are hopping around. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= To unsubscribe from this list, send a message to steward@2rosenthals.com with the command "unsubscribe os2-wireless_users" in the body (omit the quotes).
