Working now. It's a D-Link DI-614+ and I got it a Fry's for $30. The web
interface is confusing, and I wound up with encryption disabled when I thought
it was enabled.
I'm using a driver from Jens Glathe, and an AmbiCom card. It seems to work
anywhere in the house, and presumably, in my neighbor's house, too.
But now I note that the thing won't transmit NETBIOS.
