I do the same thing. I travel, stay in a friend's house, and use her WiFi. I
set up the same way, and found the same obstacle. But then I found that if I
left SSID blank, it filled in SSID and worked. I asked my friend, but she's
Linux-only and doesn't know anything about Windows.
