Definitely not. You can check this with the "ifconfig lanx" command, XWLAN uses the very same API. IMHO if the DHCP server seems to return something and the client does not get configured, the first wy to go is to activate DHCP logging (see %etc%\dhcpcd.cfg), after that only an IP trace will tell you if anything comes back and really reaches the client
After all it still can bee that due to problems with the IP stack of the driver the DHCP client never sees the response IP package, we had that here on one sysem. After servicing the IP stack the probkem was gone, before that, DHCP worked with the Genprism4, but not woht an older driver from the "Jens Glathe" series.
