Set up a profile in XWlan and - you guessed it zilch. Constant searching. We tried all combinations of no encryption, wep 64, wep 128, dhcp & fixed ip. Nada. I then deleted the widget and used MPTS to setup the card. Bingo. Tried no encryption, wep 64, wep 128 all worked. The only thing we did not try was fixed ip. With a running connection, put XWlan back on the xcentre - connection gone and won't come back. So there would appear to be a buggette in XWlan. Odd thing is that XWLan worked for peer to peer. It just refuses to have anything to do with an access point.
