Same here. I get that behavior unitil I permit that computer's MAC address to
connect to my router. Basically, it's telling you that there is an access
point, but it failed to connect. I imagine wrong security would cause it, too.

Bad side effect here is that until I update my router, all new computer connect
through my next door neighbor's access point.
