I've seen where unplugging from power and removing the battery for a bit helps odd issues. I'd also suggest trying to boot out of the port replicator, I've seen too many issues with the replicators/docks to not rule it out. My T42 will not connect to a replicator for the T60 I have at work. It also does not connect to any of the previous replicators at work (and of course the only replicators I can't get are for the T42). Andy
