That XWLAN problem used to be gone in a previous version, but now that damn tool is back to always going above one interface # of the actual lan#. So when my WiFi is on lan1, XWLAN always reports back "lan2 disabled". But there is *nothing* on lan2, and the most funny thing is, when I use scan.exe is reports back that the connection was established just fine. Go figure. --- Ed Durrant wrote: > Rick R. wrote: > > Hello Folks ! > > > > I tried in vain to establish a connection with my > HP > > WiFi printer. > > That bady works on AdHoc mode just fine under > Windoze > > (whatever goes for "fine" there). > > But no matter what I try, I can't get passed the > WiFi > > connection build up under OS/2. > > scan.exe proves I got a connection, but I can't > get an > > IP address with dhcp from the printer. > > Even not if I use all those tricks that normally > work > > on Windoze based networks. > > > > Anybody got any suggestions? > > > > Also, when will they fix that silly lan+1 error > that > > creaped back into the latest version of XWLAN? > > > > > > __________________________________________________ > > > > Hi Rick, > > I would have thought the printer would need a > static IP address > rather than trying to use DHCP.
